LEAGUE OF CHAMPIONS

Very soon, champions from different national leagues across Europe will begin the competition known as the UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.

This annual competition started in 1955 and was known as European Cup. It initially started as straight knockout tournament open to champion club of each national championship.

Champions league is one of the prestigious tournament in the world the most contested club competition. The Champions League has been won by 22 teams since inception

and it is worthy of note that Real Mardrid FC is the most successful with 13 titles while 12 teams had won it more than once including the current champion; Liverpool beaten Tottenham 2-0 in the 2019 finals.
