There have been new about Lukaku's fate at Manchester United after Ole Soskjaer left the Belgian international in his 26 man squad is friendly game against Kristiansund on Tuesday amidst report of potential sale of the player before kick of the new season.
Antonio Conte who had interest in the player wants him at Inter while another Chelsea former boss Maurizio Sarri has indicated interest in having Lukaku at Juventus in a swap deal that will involve Paulo Dybala going over to Manchester. However, Conte seems desperate to land haven wanted him while at Chelsea before he went to Manchester United. The former Chelsea boss still consider the Belgian as a world class striker but accused Jose Mourinho for misusing the striker in his stay at Manchester United. Jose had instructed the Lukaku to play with his back to goal and hold up man but Conte thinks Lukaku is better as a mobile frontman who can make incisive runs behind the defenders.
The Belgium international only joined Manchester United in the summer of 2017 for around £75m after the club hijacked the deal from Chelsea who later settled for Avaro Morata. Lukaku since join8ng United has scored 42 goals in 96 appearances with just 15 of those goals coming last season. Since taking over from sacked Mourinho in December, Ole Soskjaer ran our of patience with Lukaku which later resulted the Belgian striker being used as a second striker.
Giuseppe Marotta the Inter CEO in a report has indicated the club’s interest in the centre forward and have an offer for him but insisted that Manchester United is too much in exchange for the striker.
It quite understandable that the Manchester club is trying hard not to loss on Lukaku considering his £75m move from Everton but it is left to be seem if they are goinh to release Lukaku before the start of the new season either to Juventus which seems less likely of to Inter Milan
