Not a weight lifting guy, but bodyweight training does the similar way by increasing reps. My craziest challenge was adding 1 extra push ups a day, after half a year I'm doing 156push ups already. But I'm now back to 10😅

My upper body strength sucks😅 and I honestly don’t like to train that part😁
