Manchester United are back on the football pitch for their first game against Perth Glory in a pre-season friendly. You can't imagine just how good it feels to say that.
As usual we expect several changes within the match but this is a fantastic opportunity to finally see the kids and the new signings in action.
What we can also see is the first team that Ole has gone with and despite being a friendly one thing in particular is quite telling.
Ashley Young starts at left back.
Luke Shaw appeared in training with a strapped knee and there was doubt if he would be featuring today. Left back is a position we have been short in quality and it is telling that Ashley Young is starting there. Absolutely unacceptable.
Rather than focusing on that, it is good to see Daniel James starting on the left wing and Martial starting as the forward. Tahith chong also makes an appearance and the excellent Axel Tuanzebe in defence.
Would you like to see Tuanzebe back and Manchester United or should he have another loan spell back at Aston Villa to continue his development?
I am really looking forward to seeing what Solskjaer has planned and how he expects us to play going forward.
