Leeds tie Phillips to new five-year contract after rejecting £20m Premier League offers
Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips has clinched a deal with The Championship promotion hopefuls who have managed to keep hold of one of their star assets, in spite of so many offers coming for him over the summer. Phillips who is now 23 has been with Leeds since he was 14.
Phillips was linked with a possible move to the Premier League during the summer transfer window which elapsed on 2, September but Leeds claim they rejected the "multiple offers" and reiterated that Phillips would not be sold as he was an integral part of their future plans.
As a club, we are thrilled that Kalvin shares the same vision and potential for Leeds United, which has been demonstrated by committing his long-term future to the Whites."
