The pundit believes United have spent too much money on older players in recent years - with Alexis Sanchez's nightmare at Old Trafford being the most obvious example.
“Look at the stars who have done well this season," he told the Daily Star. "Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire and Daniel James are all good players and all the right age.
