Lando Norris, the youngest driver in Formula 1 2019 rising fast through the ranks.
Lando Norris is not the average teenage boy you will come across in Britain. At 19 he is already living many young people's dream of racing in Formula 1 with the big boys. McLaren gave him this chance after racing for it since 2017 where he was part of the team's young driver programme.
At the moment he stands in 9th place on the table standings with 22 points, 16 points behind his team mate Carlos Sainz Jr.
Lando's racing career started at 7 years with backing from he's family and straight away started winning races which included he's first national event. He rose through karting and the junior categories making he's car-racing debut in the Ginetta Junior series in 2014 after winning the world championship in the same year.
The next year, Lando raced in Formula 4 which was he's first time using single-seaters, winning the title that season. And the following year added 3 more titles, two pan-European Formula Renault 2.0 championships and the New Zealand-based Toyota Racing Series. He joined the Formula 3 European Championship in 2017 winning the title as well, and decided to go for Formula 2 last season where he finished second.
The teenage boy is already surprising many with he's first season in Formula 1 where he is winning many fans with he's amazing displays.
Watchout for him!!
