Shaw makes England return
England manager Gareth Southgate has recalled Manchester United full back Luke Shaw on International Duty for the first time since March 2017.
Shaw has had a decent start to this season, starting every game for Mourinho's side so far. He had injury issues as well as trust issues with Mourinho last season, because of which he could not make a lot appearances.
But now, he looks like he is going to be United's first choice this season and has been deservedly recalled to the England squad.
Along with Luke Shaw, Liverpool's Adam Lallana and Burnley's James Tarkowski also get a place in Southgate's squad. Liverpool's Joe Gomez, who impressed alongside Virgil Van Dijk, also made the cut.
Leicester City's Jamie Vardy and Chelsea's Gary Cahill have announced their retirement from International football, trying to focus on club football. So the duo from the World Cup squad were not a part of Southgate's team to face Spain and Switzerland in September.
