Barcelona Beats Atletico as they set on course for another La Liga crown

Spanish Champions FC Barcelona edge closer to a second consecutive La Liga title after beating Atletico Madrid today in the La Liga. The game from the onset looked tight and tough but a red card given to Diego Costa around the 28th minute of the game proved costly for Atletico and Barcelona grabbed all three point from the crunch match.

Despite falling short of one player, Atletico held on until the 85th minute when Luis Suarez opened the scoring for the Host. Jordi Alba provided the assist. Minute later a second goal rolled in for Barca as Messi scored in the 86th minute to seal the Victory and the Points for his side. Messi is currently the leading goal scorer for this year Golden Shoe.
