Bagus for silver, Wiji won Bronze from BMX

The gold medal of 2018 Asian Games BMX bicycle racing fell to the visitors. I Gusti Bagus Saputra and Wiji Lestari won silver and bronze medals.

In the competition at Pulo Mas International BMX Center, Jakarta, Saturday (25/8), Bagus did not succeed to be the best. He was defeated by Japanese rider Yoshitaku Nagasako from Japan. It is good to record 34, 314 seconds, aka 0.645 seconds behind the champion.

The bronze medal belongs to Filipino rider Daniel Patrick Caluag. He recorded a time of 35.842. Another Indonesian rider, Toni Syarifudin, ranked fifth. He was 3.092 seconds adrift of the owner of the gold medal.

In the women's competition, Wiji won bronze after making 40.788 seconds. Gold belongs to the Chinese rider Zhang Yaru, with a time of 39,643 seconds. He was followed by Thai riders, with a record of 40,788 seconds.

Another Indonesian female rider, Cupi Novianti, finished sixth. Cupi recorded a time of 44,083 seconds.

So far, Indonesian bicycle racing has collected two gold medals, two silver and two bronze medals. Two gold donated from downhill mountain bike (MTB) numbers for boys and girls.
