SARRI EXPECTS MORATA IMPROVES
Amidst the contemplation whether to get another striker or not, and while it is rumoured that the club are eyeing the want away Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain, the Chelsea new manager Maurizio Sarri expressed his patience as he said he is still waiting to witness the best of Alvaro Morata.
Morata played impressively as he assisted Pedro's goal in the 8th minutes of their International Champions Cup 1-1 draw with Inter Milan on Saturday 28th that saw The Blues win on penalty shootout.
Following his under-performance in his first season at Stamford Bridge, the world cup snub Morata is said to have been linked with a move to Italy to join the struggling AC Milan at San Siro.
"I await the best of him [Morata]. I focused on his display during our first pre season match and discovered he did not play up to my expectations, I tried him again against Inter and trust me he was superb, especially in his first 30 minutes of the match." The 57 year old coach said, when asked about the possibility of a new striker at the club.
