JOURNALISTS MISINTERPRETED MY WORDS - SILVA
The Paris Saint-German star Thiago Silva bluntly disclaimed every rumour that indicates he had some differences with his teammate Neymar.
Following their 2-0 victory on Thursday 28th over Costa Rica at the World Cup which saw them topping the group to the Round of 16, Silva allegedly said he was saddened when Neymar insulted him during the match.
Nevertheless, the Brazilian defender has come out to clear the air concerning any suggestion that there was a previous misunderstanding between him and the former Barcelona forward, as the South American country get ready for the World Cup next stage.
While speaking to Le Parisen, the defender noted that people love to say what they don’t know just because they wish to say something.
He however added that he had never at any time had a misunderstanding with Neymar, which for him is the sole truth.
He further added that he only cracked a joke but the journalists got it wrong, perhaps intentionally, then passed the wrong impression to the public.
In Group E, Brazil ended up at the top of the table. They now prepare to go head-on against Mexico on Monday in the Round of 16.
