Squid Game’ Season 2 Arrives With Worse Reviews Than Season 1

Squid Game season 2 is here after three years, following the super popular first season which was the most-watched show on Netflix. Although a second season wasn't originally planned, its success made it necessary.

Early reviews show that season 2 isn't rated as high as season 1. Season 1 got a 95% from critics and 84% from viewers, while season 2 has an 83% critic score and 63% from audiences. Some critics say the drop might be because there are fewer episodes this time - only 7 instead of 9. This could be due to how streaming shows are made now, where it takes a long time to produce just a few episodes. These scores might change as more reviews come in.
