MYSTERIOUS STREAM IN OTAN AYEGBAJU

Otan Ayegbaju is a town in Boluwaduro local government area in Osun state, Nigeria. There is a mysterious stream in this town called Edan stream which had been in existence since old age and native people believe in this stream since then up till date. This stream has three (3) stones facing each others and the stream flows within this three (3) stones facing each others and nobody knows it source. It's a wonder stream, many researchers had been to this Edan stream both locally and international researchers both nobody had ever conclude where the source is located, why they do not go for fishing at Edan stream.

Edan stream is a popular stream in Ayegbaju town in Boluwaduro local government area in osun state, this Edan stream has spiritual healing power to prevent and cure guinea worm disease once upon a time in this town. But the fish inside this Edan stream is forbidden to kill or boil even cook. But if an visitor kill this fishes in this Edan stream and cook it for 2-5hrs. The fishes will still remain the same until it's being return to the Edan stream, once it's return those fishes will come together again and start a new life again.

There is a god of river in this stream which usually and always come out between 12pm - 1pm everyday. At this time, people don't go to the river to fetch or do other domestic work because that is the relaxation time for the god of the river.
