Hey! Happy Happy new year steemians. I've been unavoidably unavailable a while now... Trying to settle into my new life style of being married 😂 and carrying two hearts in one chest 😉(if you know what i mean) + we are moving from one city to another {Delta state to Plateau state (Nigeria)} that entails a lot of planning too so... Uhmm... I think I have your pardons already for the silence.... Gracias gracias.... 😆

So uhm... For a couple of years now I've been kinda strictly organic, i barely take ill though not as a result of living organic or healthy ... I have the word of God at work too, trust me it's the greatest healing strategy...as a matter of fact i have a few friends who call me herbalist because if you tell me you have a cold, i have a natural remedy for cold and 😉...trust me it works.
PS: Your mindset has a role to play too. 😝

Fast-forward to my point... A lot of times we have come to depend so much on inorganic products and chemical infused products because of the heavy promises it comes with on the labels and stuff like that... The amazing part of it is that these producers/manufacturers don't tell us the long run effects of these products... So a cream is supposed to remove blemishes on your skin after 2 weeks? "seriously" what happens after twi weeks? Do you discontinue or continue and try to achieve that skin that looks like baby butt? 😉... Ok!

SKIN CARE?
*How about Papaya extracts for your clearer and fairer skin?
*‎ How about Apple cider vinegar for toning?
*‎ How about a cup of green tea (at least) on a daily basis for a youthful and beautiful skin
*‎ How about coconut oil for rashes
*‎ How about a tomato face mask for that breakout
*‎ How about a slice of cucumber for puffy tired eyes etc...
GENERAL HEALTHCARE?
The list is long but I'll drop a few
• How about chewing on cucumber for indigestion and bloating... Surprised? "well now you know"
• ‎Apple Cider Vinegar works too for bloating and indigestion oh and even diarrhea... But if the case is serious please see a doctor... "i no send you suicide errand" 😁
• ‎Apple cider vinegar for common cold
• ‎ How about a drop of olive oil for itchy ears
• ‎How about a slice of onion for itchy eyes, flu and related allergies.
• ‎ How about coconut oil for whiter teeth
• ‎ How about a tall glass of lemonade for dehydration instead of soda
• ‎ How about Papaya leaves extract for blood sugar level and insulin balance
• ‎How about a glass of cold water for a headache ( i beg oh, if symptoms are beyond manageable please see a doctor) etc etc

Now, don't get it wrong I'm not saying taking drugs is not good, but total dependence on these pills and capsules we pop and swallow is detrimental to our longevity. Even the foods we eat, they should be more natural than canned, go for the more organic foods. It's not even the Cholesterol that matters now, it's the quality of your meal that matters, how is it grown and cultivated, how's it handled, how's it cooked? how's it served? We can't be entirely careful about these things but we can only try to make it a point of duty to stay cautious of our consumptions...

THE BENEFITS OF ORGANIC FOOD
*Organic produce contains fewer pesticides
*‎ Organic food is often fresher because it doesn't contain preservatives that make it last longer.
*‎Organic farming is better for the environment.
*‎Organically raised animals are NOT given antibiotics, growth hormones, or fed animal byproducts.

IS IT HEALTHIER TO EAT ORGANIC
Right now, no one can say for sure whether organic food is any more nutritious than conventional food. A few studies have reported that organic produce has higher levels of vitamin C, certain minerals, and antioxidants -- thought to protect the body against aging, cardiovascular disease, and cancer.
Now isn't that something to ponder about?

ARE ORGANIC FOODS REALLY SAFER

Although organic foods may not have more nutrients per bill, consumption of organic foods may reduce exposure to pesticide residues and antibiotic-resistant bacteria.

Funfact: So the weather has been pretty warm and dry especially for those of us in Nigeria. How about a tall glass of lemonade to refresh and rehydrate... Ciao!

😂 😂 dilute in a bottle, water 3/4 ACV 1/4. A small bottle so that you don't have to pour too much of your ACV. Wipe your face with cotton balls soaked with the solution daily. Read more about it and Thank your herbalist later. 😀
