Being Right Doesn’t Make The Other Person Wrong
One of the mistakes we make while discussing and arguing is that we tend to prove ourselves right which make the other person automatically wrong. Most of the time, a lot of issues usually arise from trying to prove ourselves right and that we are right doesn’t mean the other person is wrong.
Obviously, most of the time each person is usually half right in what we are saying or arguing about, i.e no one is entirely/completely wrong.
When we are trying to prove a point, it usually seems the other person has an opposing view but this is always the case. Sometime after an argument that might last for hours/days with someone it’s surprising to me to find out later that they were describing the same thing/idea I was, only that their way of expressing such view/point or idea is different.
On one occasion after many hours of debate, the other person that disagreed earlier with me, restate in almost the same words the very first thing I said that started the argument. My response to them is to let them know that, that was the exact point or what I was saying too.
This makes me submit that we tend to talk or respond to issues than trying to understand what the subject is or what the other person is talking about. You want to save your time? Try to understand the viewpoint of another person before you speak.

Lol thank you for this write up but our chemistry teacher taught us as scientists we never admit we're wrong even when we're and it's the code we've been living by 😂😂😂
We can't always be right at all times. It is even better to be wrong than to lose the gift of wonderful people in our lives.
