CONFORMATION(BEHOLDING)

2 Corinthians 3:18
BUT WE ALL, with OPEN FACE BEHOLDING as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.

People don't eventually become because they didn't take time to behold, its what you consistently look at that will amount to what you will look like.
What are you beholding?

When couples start beholding themselves for some number of years, without mistake, they start looking alike, there is a great resemblance.
Jesus is married to the church, you are the church, He wants you to behold Him daily, He won't like you to share His place with someone else, just beholding Him.

Very few look like Christ, those few won't take there face off Jesus, daily beholding Him.
When you look at the mirror what you constantly see is your face, but as you look into the word of Life, it is Christ that those Scriptures bring to your sight. They all point to His person.

After serving God for a vast number of years, we still can't see Christ in your looks, that's absurd. Don't look like any man not even your pastor, Christ is the point man, mans work is to point men to the point man.

Let's pray: Lord, as I behold you, conform me to your image and likeness.
