MY STACH POETRY SLAM CONTEST ENTRY
It's been a while since I posted but I hope everyone enjoys this little poem I wrote.
BETRAYED
Damn!!! After everything this is how our story ends
We were supposed to build a life together
Your promise of eternal love lay dead at your feet
You just had to do it 30 minutes before we went to the alter
We were supposed to have our own family
Five years of love and trust thrown away in a single moment
You've destroyed everything we could have been finally
A moment's pleasure throwing away a life time enrollment
My blood boils each time I think about it
The love of my life riding my best friend
I remember your faces and I pour spit
Your betrayal is something I can't comprehend
Hell have no fury like a woman scorned
But I'll show you what happens when you betray a man
Don't say that you weren't warned
Next time you'll stay clear of my best man
