RE: Starting a crypto exchange

in #starting7 years ago (edited)

If you're an organizer-type, you need to find programmers. If you're a programmer-type, you'll need to find organizers. You'll need them to help keep the lights on and the creditors at bay while you code away.

Either way, you'll need to add innovation to the marketplace (something something ..decentralized exchange...with fiat access)...or find your own niche somewhere, such as the first crypto exchange in Timbuktu, for example.

You'll also need some capital or some ability to cajole it from investors, VCs, or ICO buyers.

Do I need to have a pool of my coins before hand to start en exchange, or can I pick the coins from somewhere in demand? I cant have alot of users in the beginning to fully rely on peer-to-peer exchange. So whats the right way?
