But however having these sharp minds also, our country is still considered as a developing nation because of the lack of some solid support and ways to work in right angle. Indian youths are very talented, full of skills having numerous innovative ideas. This Startup India scheme is a great help to them to showcase their innovative ideas in right direction.
The Startup India campaign completes a year on 16th January 2017. This campaign is started by Modi government, aiming to encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship in the country. After the lunch of this campaign now Govt. can able to notice the revolution in the world of entrepreneurship among the youths. Now the Indian youths are branded as job creators, not job seekers which itself a tremendous achievement.
This initiative is a great decision taken by government has been planned to bring a huge positive changes according to the need of development in the country. Through this initiative, the ultimate talents of our country can show their innovative business ideas all across the world.

What has been the Action Plan ?
Behind the lunch Startup India Hub plan, the motive was to provide a suitable platform to young entrepreneurs. It has been set in such a way that, startups can resolve their queries easily and can get sufficient handholding supports.
So some of the key points are mentioned below which defines the beauty of this plan :
v Now entrepreneurs can seek particular clarifications pertaining to Certificate of Recognition as a “Startup”
v This Startup certification is eligible to avail tax benefits.
v For information on funding purpose, one can get in touch with Hub on its Toll free number.
v Another important announcement from Govt. is startup profits are not taxable for first three years, which influences many people to start something on their own.
v Now these entrepreneurs can give more focus on their business rather than worrying about tax.
v Modi Govt. has cut the patent fees by 80% for startups only to support and protect intellectual property rights of emerging entrepreneurs.
v Online platforms like Startup India portal, mobile app have been lunched for providing updates, information, eligibility certificates to various startups and other stakeholders.
v To support innovation driven Startups, a “Fund of Funds”(FFS) managed by SIDBI has been established. This fund will make its investment in SEBI registered alternative investment funds and in return it will invest in Indian Startups.
v In future, it is planned that top 50 companies will be approached to contribute through their corporate social responsibility (CSR) towards strengthening the incubation facilities in the country.
As per the records obtained from Govt. database, till now 1368 applications have been received in the startup India portal as new entries. Out of them 502 applications have been recognized and given Startup Certificate by Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP)
Opportunity for Indian entrepreneurs on the global map
Tackling the problem of converting India from an outsourcing hub into an innovation destination has proved the effective entrepreneurship of PM Modi.
Currently, research says that India has around 19000 startups, which makes it the 3rd largest startup ecosystem in the world. A warmed funding ecosystem, great handholding from academicians and the ultimate brilliance that Indian entrepreneurs have displayed, is really appreciable. The potential of our startup ecosystem have unleashed by these factors. For which, now India is 3rd largest startup ecosystem in the world which makes it a hotspot for foreign capital inflows as well.

Along with Startup India, Standup India initiative is also featured for promoting entrepreneurship among SCs/STs, and women communities. This version was named the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Swaniyojan Yojana for the rural India.
