"From my point of view, the Jedi are evil!" Anakin Skywalker Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith. Star Wars consist of the battle between Light and Dark Side, the Jedi and Sith.

I think every Star Wars fan ,including myself, would like to see the following, a live action movie from the perspective of a Sith lord or an Sith apprentice. I would love to see a movie which takes you to the darker side of Star Wars.

The Sith

As all fans know, Darth Vader is one of the most popular movie villains in history and one of the best known Sith Lords in the Star Wars. We know him as dark and deadly almost earie character from the original trilogy, but he is far from the only Sith Lord in the lore. The Sith are Dark side users who have adopted the Culture of the ancient Sith and the teachings from the Sith temple, which can be found on Korriban (if this is still cannon).

What I would like to see:

I would like to see a movie explaining the Sith, who they were, the code they live by, the reason for the rule of only two (master and apprentice) and what the individual goes through to become a Sith Lord. I would like to see this darker side of Star Wars, the side which no one has seen. We have seen and learned the Jedi way, but I think no one actually understands the pain and suffering an individual has to go through to become a Sith Lord.

The contrast between the Jedi (the light side) and the Dark side. Why the Jedi thought they were extinct up until the start of the Clone Wars. The reason why the Jedi was in total disbelief and the fear for the possibility of a Sith Lord with in the Republic.

The Sith, Jedi and Grey Jedi Codes:

To understand the Sith one must understand the Jedi. The Jedi live by a code, a set of rules if you will. This code helps a Jedi to react appropriately in whatever situation the Jedi finds him- or herself. This is more or less the same concept with the Grey Jedi and Sith codes, the codes are as follows:

The Jedi code:
There is no emotion, there is peace.
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge
There is no passion, there is serenity.
There is no Chaos, there is Harmony.
There is no death, there is the force

The Sith code:
Peace is a lie. There is only Passion.
Through Passion I gain Strength.
Through strength I gain Power.
Through Power I gain Victory.
Through Victory my chains are Broken.
The Force shall free me.

The Grey Jedi Code:
Flowing through all, there is balance.
There is no peace without a passion to create.
There is no passion without peace to guide.
Knowledge stagnates without the strength to act.
Power blinds without serenity to see.
There is freedom in life.
There is purpose in death.
The Force is all things and I am the force.

One can clearly see the contrast in these cultures just by reading the codes. I think the Sith Code is one of self-empowerment, this is a part of the Star Wars saga Lucusfilms has not yet even scratched the surface of. Lucas arts have allowed the audience to see this part of the force as well as Bioware when looking at the KOTOR and Old republic video games.

What is the next step for Star Wars when looking at the Sith:

I feel that we need a movie which embodies the Sith in its full potential. Video Games such as Star Wars Force Unleashed has shown the viewer’s exactly what the force's capabilities are. The movie: Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith has shown the pain the Sith causes but we still do not know the full background of the Sith. I would suggest they use an already popular character, Darth Maul. They should portray force users in the movie as at the same level of force power in Force Unleashed and as dark as the turn of Anakin Skywalker in The Revenge of the Sith. In conclusion, the Sith has such an rich backstory which could develop into a great movie, I really hope in the future we can either experience the beginning of the Sith in the Old Republic era, or a origin movie for the overly popular Darth Maul.
