Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes Mobile Game Review Android/iOS

Okay, So I have been playing this game for well over a year now, and I still keep coming back to it. Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is a game made by EA and Capital Games. It is a fun and very addictive mobile game where the goal is to unlock new heroes, create/join a guild, complete missions, and much more.

Heroes and Ships:

To unlock heroes, you have to farm shards for them. Different heroes are found in different areas of the game. You can farm heroes in many different ways. Either by playing the Light Side or Dark Side hard battles, or by buying them with currency you get for different kinds of shipments as you progress through the game. It's the same way with farming ships. Note: You don't unlock the ability to use ships before you reach level 60

When you first start to play this game, you'll have to make a small list of different heroes to farm, or else you'll make the same mistake as I did when I first started to play, and that was to just farm the characters that I thought was the coolest looking, etc. Because in this game, the characters are not judged by their abilities in the movies, so characters that you might deem useless, might actually be stronger than lets say Darth Vader, or Luke Skywalker.

Missions:

In this game you have different kinds of missions. You have the Light Side battles, the Dark Side battles, the Cantina battles, Galactic War, Territory Battles, Territory Wars, Different challenges, and Guild Raids. Each one serves their own purpose, as you will learn while progressing them.

Guilds:

You can either create or join a guild. It is free to join a guild, but to create a guild you have to have 300.000 Credits. It seems like alot when you first start out, but as you progress through the game, you will unlock different ways to earn credits, so it isn't really that much in the long run.

This game is alot of fun when you get in to it, but it is also very time consuming. It takes a long time to level up your heroes, getting gear for them to increase their gear level, and getting shards for them to increase their star level.

Some of the things I'm mentioning might seem alien for you, but it will all make sense if/when you decide to give this game a try.
