Thanks @arcange! This is awesome - upvoted and followed you. Is there a Steemit tool where we can play around with these numbers? If not, are you thinking of building one? I would love to see users, new users, activity (posts, comments etc) per country. Also, I would love to see the development of max, average and median payout per category. Cheers!
The tool already exists and I eat my own dog food: using SteemSQL to collect and compute the data.
Sweet, I'll play around with it and see if my rusty SQL skills are good enough to pull the numbers by myself :)

I'm thankful to @lordofthewaves for showing me your daily stats. I just posted several questions about the activity here in steemit, why there seems to be lesser activity despite the 1M population. This daily stats gave me a better perspective. Thank you!
It's kinda sad though to see the gap between the number of active and registered users.

You should not focus on number of inactives. Did you ever wonder how many inactive accounts there are on Facebook or Instagram? I guess "no", just because they do not publish such stats ;)
