How Do You Grow Your Account? (Bounty Post)
The Road Less Traveled
As a Steemit blogger, I find it quite difficult to grow my account without putting money in from external sources. Especially in the crypto - space, where the 'audience' is pretty scare. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who's taking the road less traveled by.
What are the best ways to grow on Steemit?
The only options I'm more familiar with are delegations and auto voting services. Of course, there are plenty more ...
1. Delegations
I'm currently using this option (well, not at the moment because my SP is on its way back, before I can send a bigger amount back again). I've delegated my Steem Power to @tipu, which for a long period of time had the highest APR. It is now ranked on the second place with ~18.34%, very close to the first place actually.
2. Auto Voting
Vote Club
I'm also using at the moment @knircky's vote exchange club, where my left-over voting power is used to upvote other members' content and vice versa. It's basically a very cool service helping to get as much as possible out of my account, whenever there's voting power left after I'm manually upvoting the people I follow.
Steemvoter
I'm also using Steemvoter, another cool service where you can manually add the accounts you want to upvote and set your voting power and the delay. For me it currently has to be 100%, because I have less than 500 Steem power. Of course, it took a while until I found a balance, so that I can use both auto voting services and also have voting power left for myself.
Other
Of course, there are also other options - like bid bots or the SBI shares for example, which unfortunately I'm not quite familiar with. Maybe I'll start researching to see what's going on with them.

Lol this is great post I do all these things and also use a few things in steem like @Partiko and @esteem for instant phone notifications and points, https://steemworld.org/@steemingmark for people's information and steemd occasionally, @steem-bounty for bounties lol, https://steemyy.com/sp-delegate-form/ for delegating over the recommended amount or https://steembottracker.com/delegation.html to delegate with recommended amount, @actifit to get steem for steps and power up steem, @drugwars occasionally to try and earn steem by selling future tokens, @busy occasionally, @smartsteem and @minnowbooster to sell votes at 100%, @steemdunk and @steemvoter for auto curation, I delegate to @tipu, I use https://www.steemprofit.info/, occasionally use @upvotebank for x10 vote bank by sharing votes there is probably more I have used in the past but can't remember like when searching for stats etc.

there is 2% staking steem yearly intrest rate you have forgotten it.

The steem yearly interest applies to the Steem Power balance, right?
yes true
it is a value derived from the steem power only
for example - you have 1000 teem power
at the moment of discussion the yearly intrest rate is 1.995%
then you will get 19.95 steem power yearly, but wait, it is added up on each second, so to make it easy you should calculate it daily for simple understandings
19.95 / 365 days = 0.05 steem power will be added into your steem power daily
and it is accumulating and compounding daily too

I do the same thing, have a couple SBI shares tho.
My account grows because I am joining contests and comment a lot 30-50 comments at least.
I also post a lot.
I use steem-bounty, dpill, appics and palnet to do so.
I also use dust sweeper.
Delegating I did but I doubt it brought me anything and if you are low on SP I doubt it brings anything.
I also used steembasicincome to help about 15 people but am not sure if that brought me anything.
Instead of 50/50 I use 100 power up now.

Hello, I do not understand why it is quite difficult to grow your account without entering money from external sources? I really believe that if your content is original and contributes to the community, it will not be difficult for you to grow step by step with good posts and quality comments, it will not be fast if you are going to achieve it.

It's quite difficult to grow it, because I'm writing mostly about cryptocurrency and technical analysis. And there are not too many readers interested about crypto technicals, therefore not too much interaction on my page.
I have leased a delegation on minnowbooster and also joined an upvote trail by back scratcher. That's how I'm growing my account.

Hi there, thanks for writing about @tipu :) As for the APR - actually it depends on the moment of checking, sometimes @tipu is #1. With longer time window of delegation (30+ days) it should stabilize. Also HF21 is coming which will be fun for voting services...

I know, @tipu used to be #1 for a long period of time.. I remember it from the "profitability check" posts. By the way, why did you stop with these posts? TipU needs more advertising, especially with the new token implementation.

Previously the profit was checked for @lavater account. Lately I've changed it to @profitcheck and delegated to many different bots. Sadly this means that the days delegated is less than 30 which for many services (including @tipu) which means that the results are not quite representative. Will need like 2 weeks more :)
Also I try to include the check profit section in the investors report, not make an entirely new post about as it might be seen as spam ;)
