Bundle clothes is a great choice.
The Bundle has long been introduced in Sabah. I remember when I was young, I used to follow my mother to the tamu ground (a place where people selling their goods). There you colud find alot of them selling or buying bundle clothes.
Bundle is actually a used clothes. Here in my hometown, you can find all types of clothes that has been imported from other countries such as Japan, Korea, US, UK or other European countries. This clothes will be collected and wrapped in sacks. This is what is called BUNDLE. These clothing bundles will be sold to suppliers in bulk.
For those who are not dare to wear a used clothes, they will be questioning why some the people are willing to wear them. Some will feel disgusted as they consider second hand clothing are dirty. But in the end, it is up to the individual to make their choices. But what is interesting about this bundle clothes is that the quality itself is still very good especially when it is imported from the US.
For the loyal fans, this bundle is definitely a choice as they can get their favorite brands at a bargain price. Big brands like Levi's, Dockers, Polo, Harley Davidson are usually sold like hot cakes.
The "Bundle" or second hand clothes is increasingly popular with the local community here. High cost of living causes many buyers to see bundles as an alternative to having cheap and stylish branded outfits.
I used to do bundle clothing business in Donggongon town every weekend. Its quite a hard work cause I need to get up very early in the morning to prepare the stalls, unload, arranging the clothes according to their grades and when the day is through I need to packed up all the goods to bring back. This situation is repeating the next day. We have to bring back all the goods back since the stall lots is not a permanently owned. You need to booked the lot everytime you want to sell your goods and it has to be done a week early or you'll don't get a place to sell. You cannot booked the whole month because of the town council procedures.
The price offered usually ranging from RM5 to RM10 for and you can get three pieces of children clothes (usually they sell it in package), while an adult men's clothing are sold on average from RM10 to RM25 such depending on the quality.
Sometimes some customers might asking for a lower price, sometimes I will just have to agree with them so that they will come back again to buy from me!! Hahahaha....
But end of 2016, I stopped selling bundles due to my health concerned. Bitter and sweet experiences when selling bundles will not be forgotten, if you dare to venture into this business you have to prepare to lose or play with fate. One thing I learned through this experiences is that the important to be patient and to if you want to succeed in this bussiness you have to "have a steel of hearts" to deal with the customers attitude. Seriously!! 😅😅
