Let's Eat #8 | Potatoes & Carrot Fingers/Nuggets
Nowadays only few kids love to eat veggies, specially those picky one's. I know kids love nuggets. Let me introduce you my homemade veggie nuggets composed of potato and carrot.
Ingredients:
• 2 medium-size Potato, cubed
• 1 medium carrot, cubed
• salt & pepper to taste (optional)
• 2-3 Tbsp Flour (for mixture, add more flour for breading)
• cheese, cubed
• cooking oil for frying
Procedure:
- Boil the cubed potatoes and carrots until tender. Drain and let it cool.
- Mash the boiled potatoes and carrots. Add flour and seasoning according to taste. Chill it for 15 minutes.
- Get the mixture from the fridge and mold it to a nuggets-form. By the way i added cheese as a filling.
- Pre-heat pan and oil, when it is ready fry the nuggets until golden brown.
- Drain the excess oil on the paper towel, ready to serve. Enjoy!
