Got nothing last round. I'll go with option 1 this round. I don't think it would be in the best of interest to take a shot (s) at someone not being aware of their firepower, if they're alone or a better shot than myself. As for trying to make new friends, I'll wait until after daybreak so I can have the light of day on my side and avoid chance being caught off guard.
