Yes, but I'm not a fan of either. Both leads to abuse in a long run. That's why I'm one of those very few users who are not selling Votes or Steem Power.
In the end it's not that bad with my VP. It's not that idle as it might seem, and I'm working to improve this.

Your voting pattern is more concentrated (fewer frequently voted authors) and more selfish (over 10% votes to yourself ). Another thing is that I use my votes for flagging, from time to time.
But ...
to give you a chance, I can setup a wise rule for you, so you could use equivalent of my 100% vote each day for a week. The only catch here is that the rules wouldn't be easy to met.

WOW. Okay, First of all, Thank you for a Very Detailed feedback. In all honesty I hadn't looked at the stats on steemworld, I just stumbled on your blog and decided to reach out when I saw your VP just sitting at 100%, my bad.
I'm speechless, I never thought of self support as selfish, personally I see it as tapping oneself on the back for all the work I put in. You don't create as much, you probably would be around the same percent if you did, No? I see plenty of Whales upvotong each of their own post and that's fine with me cause at the end of the day they are supporting other creators as well.
Please do. Don't they say If you never ask you'll never know?..
