Do you understand how STEEM Power delegation works?

This is a nice question and i wish to answer this. First let me start with the defination of steempower.
What is steem power?
A STEEM Power is a steem token which has been locked in, vested, (meaning it can't be immediately withdrawn to spend). The STEEM Power is what will gives you influence on Steemit platform. The more Steem Power you have, the more money you give to authors with your upvote as well as the greater the curation rewards you will earn.
The Reasons for delegating SP
Hardfork 18 came with a very interesting feature which is the ability to delegate Steem Power to another account. There are several benefits attached to this which are :
1. Creating accounts with a lower fee.
2. Donating your Steem Power to curators who you trust.
3. Combining your Steem Power from different accounts to a single voting account.
Some interesting part for most of us.....
For most of us, it will be the 2. and 3. which are interesting to us because It allows whales to directly delegate SP to some trusted curators, hence spreading influence far and wide.
There are several rules attached to delegation of steem power which are:
* You cannot delegate SP that which is been powered down so also you can't power down a delegated SP.
* Steeem Power delegation works like a donation, which is that the delegatee keeps all curation rewards.
* Effectively for a votes made the delegatee, it would seem like they own the SP.
* Delegators can cancel their delegations at any time, since it takes 7 days before they can use the Steem power themselves again.
* You will be able to only delegate Steem Power you own, not Steem Power delegated to you.
Hope i have answered your question?
Thanks for reading!!!
