Kentish Town.

Jumped in the shower, nice and cold

I style my hair, a grey, im old

On the Piccadilly line, gusty and hot

My weave was on point, now its not

//

Meeting my girl, at Kentish town

Feeling happy, Ihave no frown

A swig of JD before I left home

To ease any tensions, I could have flow

//

Pennys to my name but my girl came through

Why do I always, bite more than I can chew

Gluttony a sin, no doubt a strong pull

That thought lasted a second, my plate now full

//

Seeing my girl smile and dance away

I feel extremely lucky, a note to pray

With the Scottish crew, sprawled on the street

Lots of conversation, rhythms and beat

//

We leave with another couple, hand in hand

We enter Sainsburys, next to vacant land

Alcohol follows, nothing too strong

Louty on the train, it felt a bit wrong

//

Back to the house now, cuddles and that

I turn to kiss my girl and she’s passed out flat

A chuckle inside as I leave her to sleep

I turn my phone silent so it don’t beep

//

Im glad I came out, the energy was right

Cooped up inside, only adds to the blight

Relationships are there, to help medicate

Providing relief and to keep you straight.
