help getting more into steem

ive have been messing around on this for about 2 months now and i was really wondering what i could do on my laptop to really see what this app can do. im running an intel i7 processor and some basic laptop specs around that and have it on ubuntu 17.04. if anyone can help me out on how to up my steem game please leave a comment below about some fun steem programs to fiddle with. im not really scared about the nitty gitty stuff throw terminal command stuff or some coding at me. im still new on the subject but am very quick to learn
