A Shaplapatapara fish weighing 6.5 pounds of fish in the fishermen's net in the Meghna river was caught.
The fish was caught on Friday night in the Meghna river under Chorphation Upazila of Bhola. On Sunday, the fish were sold and sold by distributing fish at Port Road in Barisal city.

Fish trader Masum Bepari said that the weight of the fish is around 7.7 mm. On Friday night, the fishing boat was caught by fishermen on the river Meghna in Charfashion upazila. Fishermen mounted on the edge of the fish trying for a few hours. Fishermen brought fish to Barisal fish landing center on Saturday. He bought the fish from them.Masum Bepari did not tell the fish, how much money was bought.
Officials of Barisal District Fisheries Department said this fish is up to 200 cm in length. The length of the fishing ground in Meghna is about 160 centimeters. Tail length is 85 centimeters.
Officer of Barisal District Fisheries Office, Bimal Chandra Das told first light that the fish is locally known as Shaplapara, House, Sanukus, Chitra House etc. These fish are found mainly in the coastal shallow river, lake, breathable forests and sometimes fresh water.
