Ned Booked on Bloomberg

~Blast from the past~

The Business Development job at Steemit meant the world to me and I enjoyed the project, working with the team, and the community very much.

One of my favorite accomplishments was getting @ned booked on Bloomberg Asia in Tokyo as part of our Summer 2018 Asia Tour.

The Japanese Steemit community was helpful in connecting me up with the Booking Director at Bloomberg Japan who initially was interested in meeting us for a print interview/article.

But I respectfully pushed and pushed and pushed, because I truly believed that Steem(it) was the coolest thing in crypto and the story must be told.

We finally got the live in studio interview!

I remember watching that interview and being excited for so many reasons. The first and most obvious being that it was a huge moment for Steemit. The second is that it was on Bloomberg (one of the few broadcast media outlets I still respect) and the interview was given by Betty Liu, one of their best anchors. Finally it gave an inside look at the Japanese Steemit community, which I've been fascinated by since I started following their meetup posts. Seems like they do amazing stuff in the way they work together and helping you get this done is another good example.

This is a great accomplishment indeed and I enjoyed getting to revisit it with some cool insider back-story!
