It's more than cruel to play with trust, I'm disgusted.
Whoever did this damages the reputation of EACH member of the former Team 4.

After a bit of digging and some help from @petface, we can quickly absolve every team member form any wrong doing but a mistake was made and...
it's crucial that all teams learn from this.
When the team was created, a Discord link was shared with the new team in response to @steemitblog's post. This link was available to all (and still is if you know where to look).
Within the publicly available Discord channel, the posting keys are clearly visible.
A currently unknown assailant (silva#6188) joined the group and he had a lot of fun playing with himself.

Keep Discords private to the team, don't share invites on chain, don't invite in strangers, be very careful with keys...

If you haven't seen it, a "confession" has been published with the usual supporting account getting thrown under the bus. There's obviously a very strong whiff of bullshit surrounding it which I've spent too much time sniffing around (as usual) 🙄

What a shame things like that happen indeed. I was asleep, working from home today, my alarm went off at 8:45, can provide data from my smartwatch upon request 😜 I know there are very experienced curators and developers here who I believe will figure this all out and let us know. The link to our Discord channel was posted here as part of the comments, so at 6:45 silva#6188 joined our server and it all started to go down. Our team leader advised us that he has spoken directly to the Steemit team about all this.
I received this invitation, for him to enter the channel, someone must have invited him, I don't know if that can be known in Discord.

@chriddi, It really an abuse of the account. As one of the members of Team 4, I have called the attention of my formal team members. I will be looking for more details from the steemit team, given the reputation of the formal Team 4 Members. I will in no way accept that formal Team 4 deliberately abused the account.
From my point of view, we put in our best and all to serve the platform. My suspicion as of now could be a fault in the system or a breach of security in the wrong hands. Thanks for calling out attention.
