DAPPs are the future of this blockchain...

Fun With (18).png

...and the games are really taking off!

In this post, I'll share three games on the Steem blockchain that can make you some real money for your gaming efforts. Whether through affiliate bonuses, daily quests or long-term investment returns, these games will leave you feeling rewarded and supportive of Steem!

Steem Monsters

Steem Monsters is the granddaddy of Steem games. Founded by top Steem witnesses @aggroed and @yabapmatt and run by an incredible team of innovative Steemers, it's sure to be a staple of the Steem universe for years to come.

If you haven't acquainted yourself with Steem Monsters yet, I'm not sure what you're waiting for! Automated tournaments have already distributed thousands in prize money, and daily battling can earn you free cards regularly. You will never get tired of playing this simple yet complex strategy game, and new exciting updates will keep you wanting more!

Steem Monsters also offers a referral bonus of 5% of all affiliate purchases. This means that through simply supporting this amazing game, you can create a nice residual income for yourself. What are you waiting for!?

Drug Wars

Where else do you have the opportunity to build a drug and crime empire with no consequences? You may get raided by some of the whales (@berniesanders - I'm looking at you), but hell, at least you won't get dragged off to jail.

Drugwars is the new kid on the block, and in the last few weeks it has exploded with popularity. Build an empire, expand your production of "drugs," "alcohol" and "weapons" to get a piece of that daily Steem prize.

My advice: Get in there and build that drug empire. I wouldn't be surprised if that max Crack House could be sold at some point for cold, hard cash.

We never know when one of these games will crash into the mainstream, so don't you want to get some referrals under your belt? I do!

moonSTEEM

The last game I'd like to promote is moonSTEEM, a brand new provably fair gambling game on Steem.

moonSTEEM is super addictive, and these crypto gambling games have always held a special place in my heart.

We should all do what we can to support these games. Even if gaming isn't your thing, these DAPPs will help newbies understand what this blockchain is really about. Plus... residual income... need I say more?

How do you think - will steem games beat ethereum-based?

I absolutely think that STEEM has more to offer than ETHEREUM for gaming. :) I've played some ETHER based games, but the transaction speed and fluctuating gas costs make it a lot trickier.

Steem games are user friendly and for the most part, free to play. https://www.stateofthedapps.com/ already shows that STEEM DAPPs are leaving Ethereum DAPPs in the dust. I have the utmost faith in my STEEM community! :D

Great question! Thanks for stopping by!

Steem games are user friendly and for the most part, free to play.
Monsters are not free to play. And let's not forget that you need to have SP on your account to post any transaction into steem blockchain including gaming txs. So someone - either you or game owner need to buy and power up steem in order all the system simply run.

From the dev side steem has lowest barrier of entry in the industry. Essentially you have a backend ready for your needs.

I said "for the most part." ;) You don't need much SP to play games, especially compared to a per transaction gas cost.

Steem Monsters sets up a Steem account for a new user, providing the SP that user needs to play. If and when new players run out of resource credits, they are offered delegations by any number of helpful SM players in the community, including the devs.

Obviously this is unsustainable too.

No chance that an average joe type of players will buy steem. And rely on a good will of same guy in discord is far from a solid adoption model.

You asked me a question that seems to be about my post, but I feel like you just want an argument. I'm not big on arguing.

I don't care if you think it's "unsustainable." :D I think it's all very "sustainable," So there. We each think different things apparently. Nothing wrong with that. ;)

Would you like to get into Steem Monsters? I may have a free starter pack lying around :D

I'm just trying to sort things out how these games operate now and what perspectives they have in future. Thank you for your "arguing". :)

Would you like to get into Steem Monsters? I may have a free starter pack lying around :D

I would be very grateful if you help me.

Are you on discord? If yes, what's your user name? If no, what's your email? :)

Sounds awesome!! Been seeing these talked about quite a bit, might have to make the plunge and try em

Well, too bad drug wars took our STEEM investments for their stupid tokens and then left the blockchain.

How rude.

And moonsteem is now dead too, the domain is for sale..

lol, yep, too bad :)
I was enjoying Drugwars until somebody wiped me out and sucked all the fun out. I really liked MoonSteem too. Tough times for STEEM I guess. Splinterlands prevails. I was on the right boat from the beginning. :D
I also still have high hopes for Next Colony.

Moonsteem is the only one I haven't tried. Resteemed

moonSTEEM is pretty fun. :) It's all luck, but it's nice to picture STEEM "mooning" over and over... Thanks for the resteem!

Just recently got into Steem Monsters. Found it while searching for a TCG to play and I am so glad I found it. Wish I had done so sooner but better late than never. I am exciting for the future of the game.

This post has been included in the latest edition of SoS Daily News - a digest of all the latest news on the Steem blockchain.

Thanks so much for the feature :) And thanks for supporting Steem gaming!

Wow great post , I play a lot of Steem Monsters but never heard of the other two, thanks for info @chrisroberts 🙋😎 upped and resteemed to spread the word!

I am really liking some of these games so far.
