Excellent overview, that addresses much too neglected aspects of on-chain apps. Another factor might also be who is in charge of the code. Of course open-source is a strong point. But if one single party is in control of the code and thus the operability of github, it can easily change it at will, which not necessarily reflects what the user community demands. This possibility of arbitrary changes could even lock up the users of the dapp.
