The premium when buying STEEM via Blocktrades is WAY TOO HIGH!!
We need a much more efficient way of adding STEEM to our accounts than purchasing the coins through Blocktrades. I calculated a 9-9.5% premium when purchasing STEEM through blocktrades with either Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Litecoin. We need the ability to buy on the open market and transfer into our STEEM account. I have not been able to discover how to do this. If anyone knows, please let me know. This exchange premium is unacceptable. It is far too high! This means that you are starting your investment 9% in the hole.
Sure is! Wish it was closer to 0%
Even Coinbase, which is pretty high, is about 1.5%
It would be interesting if someone knew a way to overcome the exchange premium ... or any suggestions for the best option.
I've been searching for that since I got here. I'm hoping someone will respond with the answer. It doesn't seem that we have a simple receiving address like all other cryptocurrencies. If we do, I have not been able to find a definitive answer as to how to transfer to it in.
