Renders of the iPhone 15 Pro with the device's newly revealed dark red finish
Apple's iPhone 15 series enhancements have already been widely leaked, but there will be a startling omission when the phones are ultimately shown in September.
The well-known Apple insider Unknownz21 claims that "none of them are red." Although Apple has been working successfully with the charity (PRODUCT)RED for the past 16 years, the new hue is a bit of a curveball.
It was commonly believed that the iPhone 15 Pro versions would come in a deep, dark crimson (as mocked up above).
Unknownz21 hasn't clarified his claim, though I've contacted the leaker for more details. It is not yet clear if Apple will continue to release (PRODUCT)RED iPhone 15 variants or if this marks the end of the collaboration between the two businesses.

PRODUCT RED series from Apple
AirPods Pro Max, Apple Watch, iPhones, and other devices are currently offered in the (PRODUCT)RED finish, as are coordinating watch faces, bands, and official silicon iPhone cases. Currently, Apple continues to extensively publicize its affiliation with the charity by adopting the tagline "Choose (RED)". Protect lives.

"(RED) creates a significant difference. AIDS prevention is a priority for both Apple and (RED). We have given more than $2 billion in 16 years, helping to fund therapies that can save the lives of HIV-positive individuals. And with your assistance, we won't back down.

Unknownz21 has a solid track record, providing various facts regarding the iPhone 15 that others have later confirmed, as well as reliable information on the iPhone 14 series and the Apple Vision Pro headset.
Regardless of finishes, there will be four iPhone 15 series variants when it launches: the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.The Dynamic Island and A16 chipset from the iPhone 14 Pro will be adopted by the ordinary models, while the Pro models will have even thinner bezels, a new solid-state action button, improved cameras, and maybe higher costs. Additionally, all iPhone 15 versions will use USB-C.
It's interesting to note that Unknownz21 previously suggested people avoid the iPhone 15 series because it was "too mediocre of an upgrade," and leaks already indicate that Apple has more ambitious plans for the iPhone 16 in 2024. It will be interesting to see if the company's renownedly devoted consumers can wait that long.
