Bringing Brunette

Brunette planting is one of the pre-modern Iranian preparations that show greenness and reproductive symbol again and begin life again in the new year. The symbolic planting of the "Nowruz Brunette" has been commonplace among Iranian families since ancient times. In ancient Iran, twenty-five days before the Nowruz, in the city of the city, twelve pillars were erected from the clay in the number of months of the year. On each pillar, grains of cereals such as wheat, rice, bean, millet, beans, lentils, mushrooms, Chickpea and ... and the goodness and badness of the cereals were predicted from the way it was eaten in the year before.
Nowadays, it is customary for Iranian people to make it in the "Haft Sin" table during the delivery of the New Year about two weeks before Nowruz in the proper range of grains such as wheat, lentils, mushrooms. In this way, grains of wheat, lentils, etc. are soaked in a container and thin on it and each time it spills on it so that the seeds slowly germinate and become green. They then spread the green buds in the desired container (usually tray), with a thickness of about two centimeters, covered with a thin cloth and spray a good amount of water each day. With brunette growth, they take the cloth out to make it grow well. Some also do this on pottery jars, which after a few days with budding and rooting the grass, the jug gets a green and beautiful shape. For proper moisture they also pour water into the jug. The new bridesmaid will be placed on the "Haft Sin" table at the time of delivery. Then the bride was kept until the 13th of Farvardin, and on this day, when they leave the house for "Thirteen Badr", the bride is flowing in water. Throw away the blessing and fertility of the fields.
