A little question to steemians members

Hi Steemians,

i'm not really active yet on steemit and so... i'm what we routinely call a noobs or a newbies...

If i have already post some writing on a community project i like (https://steemit.com/@elma-landro) i'm not already proactive on steem it (like other, my time is scarce...); but it could be change...

I just discovered some steem service i just saw that:

@steemitboard (SteemitBoard.com) give at steem it users awards and I just asked me if it's usefull and how?

In the same reflexion, i see lot of another specific steem dedicated service... Does anybody see a must have service? Please, share with us your skills and uses that will be very usefull for newbies like me.

Thank in advance for who want to enlightening me, and other, with their own experience

edit: like i just saw, it's seem to be that Markdown doesn't work anymore? Where we can find some service for a better editing tools for our post?

I've been on here for 6 months and only heard about this now. It's pretty cool but as to how useful...???

So i'm not alone to ask me this... Still waiting, retweet and i just sure we will have answers for some steemian members

There are some other useful tools on here...

Steemstats by @jesta is excellent to keep up with your account and posts. Awards are nice I guess, but I'm more interested with my content than with who I impress.

Agreed, it's one of the meaning of my questions: who are the guy behind the awards, what criterion they used for a qualitative evaluation of the post content... who give value to this kind of automated awards, etc
Thank for info

The one you posted, I have no idea. Jesta is a mainstay in Steemit... he's been here a long time and I respect him a lot. He's a witness among other things.

Thanks! This is a useful service that I was not aware of; I was always wondering where folks got their badges from.

Few other services I found are posted along with their usage at https://steemit.com/steemit/@nrajesh/attention-content-makers-nitty-gritties-of-steemit
