Steem is giving us a very good start of the new year. As if the run up to $5 of this week wasn't enough. Steem is doing it all over again, reaching a new height at a solid $8 mark. These numbers are absolutely surreal, since we just got used to Steem being at $2

What can we expect
With it's current prices. Steem can no longer be considered a 'penny crypto' . Steem has successfully come out of the shadows of cryptospace.
And considering for example, that Ripple has been mentioned very widely in the 'mainstream media. Since it grew from $0,24 to $2 recently. Their seems to be a lot more interest in alt-coins.
Therefore from my expectations, we can expect some media attention soon (the media out of the Steem ecosystem) .
It's about time that Steemit got some user adaptation from a wider demographic.
