Appearently the body of posts with a parent will be replaced with "comment pruned due to size" on the blockchain itself.
Interresting. Yes, i am insane, anyone who isnt wont run into this. Then again, for small files such as encrypted scans of contracts you can make do and with files in the hundrets of kb (a post with ~50kb requirering ~12M ressource credits, thats in base64 though which is ~33% larger than the original file) or even a whole floppy disk, youll have to have an amount of steem that would make it trivial to create another steem account which isnt intended to be followed and resteem one of the comments and delegate whats neccessary.
Ive also learned a lot in the course of this project which would make a few other less insane projects rather simple to realise.
Will hear more of all of this from me soon.
