TED2019 Gate Experiment, Opening Gates on Steemit Too! Or How to Get Rich by Acting Rich
Ideas Worth Spreading for Powering Communities and Opportunities
On April 15, TED2019 was opened with lots of inspiring speeches, workshops, etc. Among these experiences, one experiment was happening, not inside the building but outside, to peek inside the minds of TEDsters! The Gate Experience!

6.There is more wisdom in ...
■ The Internet (93)
■ The Tradition (290)
So maybe it's time to leave Steemit for a while and go exploring the wilds?! Yes! You can't post something worthy when you have never experienced that or at least gained some insights about it! You may have browsed among some Steemians profiles, took a look at their posts, and you may find although there are too many posts or a long time membership, the upvotes (which represents how others on platform felt about it) are at lowest points. On the other hand you may seem some Steemians post less but get more. We all know about RC and VP,but as it is said "There is no Knowledge, That is not Power" .Let's face it the other way, quality of content. One aspect that some forgets about, is to put more wisdom in their posts. You can surf the web and find thousands of interesting things to share with others, but it's not like a hit and go! One issue about contents you find on Internet is, as social media gets bigger and bigger, posting low quality contents while polishing its appearance is really easy (have you heard of click baits?). So you can at least keep the tradition and get your information from more eligible sources! Remember, a well known newspaper, never goes for cheap and useless news, because they have to pay for printing papers! So why don't you consider a price for your time and efforts?
The process may seem strange and yet it is very true. I did not so much gain the knowledge of things by the words, as words by the experience I had of things.

5. Who do you share ideas with?
■ Everyone (219)
■ Trusted Circle (199)
This is all Steemit is about, sharing! Considering previous question, what are you going to share with other Steemians? Just usual posts, or the ideas that comes originally from you? A good idea worth sharing, and when I say good, the only authority that can measure that, is YOU! So if you have an idea and want to talk about it, if it's been on your mind for a long time, if whenever you think about it you get excited, just go for it! No matter how many upvotes it gets, you should be brave enough to express yourself. We are all afraid of judgment, but should our fears keep us behind? If it's perfect for you, try to present it the way you like other people find it exciting! But with your standards and your quality. Everything begins with an idea, so just do it!
Share your knowledge. It is a way to achieve immortality.

4.The world needs more ...
■ Artists (284)
■ Engineers (148)
Being on Steemit will make you both! You have to consider technical aspects of your posts while trying to present it as an artist. Writing is an art. You can't just publish a post with perfect HTML coding without any art in it! It's like the relationship between CSS and HTML, while the HTML keeps the bones and muscles, CSS makes look and beauty. So your content which can be a video, a photo, an idea, an #ulog, a report, etc, needs to be presented by strong bones while has it's own beauty! Like a song with nice rhythm, the audience whether he/she is aware or not, is led by the artist, to the ups and downs of the song and into the end, so let your post take the hands of audiences and take them to a journey, not right into the end! Let them enjoy the road not the destination. There is no universal standard that defines what a good art or journey is, and this the beauty of your work, you are the tour leader!
Man is unique not because he does science, and he is unique not because he does art, but because science and art equally are expressions of his marvelous plasticity of mind.
■Jacob Bronowski
3. The future of humanity is in …
■ Creating (271)
■ Adapting (168)
If you are a new Steemian like me, you may have tried to surf the web and learn new ways to grow your profile. In my journey on this subject, I heard this phrase a lot "Go see what's popular, and post something like that", In other words adopt yourself to something even if you are not passionate about it... Unfortunately this is what's happening on Steemit platform at some extent. You may find lots of similar posts in pursuit of happiness! I don't want to say if a subject is trending, it's a bad thing, the problem is copycatting, when you take the joy out of your work and replicating others or even yourself. While keep an eye on what's trending, always keep your idea unique and let that creation have your signature. Don't get adopted to a template, sometimes being an outlaw is not a bad thing! Define your own standards for a good content and have your own rules (Please stay safe!). Be passionate about what you do on platform, whether it's posting, commenting or even just a simple task as clicking upvote.
Life is creation – self and circumstances, the raw material.

2. The ideas at TED inspire me to …
■ Think Deeper (238)
■ Take Action (231)
If you have read the article until this point, you may know what I am about to say. While being a creative outlaw artist who sometimes gets back to traditions, always have your mind before your works. A bird is known by it’s notes and a man by his talk. So whatever you are up to, have a plan for it. But, be aware of over thinking or overdoing. We talked about ideas, creation and being enthusiastic about your work on Steemit. You do what you want to do with an awareness about some outcomes. You can't predict everything, and you don't need the power to change the outside world but you have the power of choice. Choice means saying no to one thing so you can say yes to another. So whatever the outcome is, don't regret that if you have put thinking before action. When you throw an apple up, it turns a thousand times before it come down. The best investment you can have on this platform is being thoughtful and do not forget to go from thinking to doing.
Don’t just jump into action just because people are taking action. Know and understand the next real action and reaction that will follow the action before you take any action.

1.Where are great ideas born?
■ In The Shower (518)
■ At The Office (98)
I'm not going to talk about dopamine with you! It is the silence that brings peace to you... While you are showering alone, it's just you and yourself. This is the moment that your brain can rest and find the way. You don't need to talk to anyone, you are not in a loud place with lots of distractions, so your brain doesn't need to process all this useless information. It's something like sleeping, when your brain can have a little rest, that's why you can fly in your dreams! So sometimes it's not a bad idea to stop surfing Steemit too fast, commenting, looking for better incomes, following, looking for tags... You are taking lots of information without letting your brain process it, so how are you going to publish that brilliant idea to make thousands of dollars on platform?! We all know, more posts does not mean more income. So when it's time, just take a shower! You can't just keep running, you need to stop, take a look back, learn of what you left behind while planning your next move. If you just keep running to pass others without having attention to the signs, you are probably going to be a lost person on a wrong turn! Just calm down while you let your RC and VP charge! Let your brain charge too!
Every one who has taken a shower has had an idea. It's the person who gets out of the shower, dries off and does something about it that makes a difference.

Take-Home Message
Steem and Steemit platform is a great opportunity for everyone. So while we chase our dreams, we can help the community grow, because if the Steem community grow, we are one step closer to our dreams. We don't need to act like each other, but we can act in a way that leads to the success of community, and of course, ourselves, everyone with his/her own unique way of thinking. It is the diversity that can lead to Steem blockchain success. It's the diversity that has led to launching this many platforms based on Steem blockchain, and it's growing everyday. Each platform has its own definition of perfection, so why don't you define what is perfection for you as a personality. If you haven't read the last post of @steemitblog I highly recommend you to that.
