Is It Even Possible To "Score Big" On STEEM Nowadays?
Never have I during the ~4 years I've been here seen this much depression & anxiety regarding the future of STEEM and rewards. It has practically been impossible to be on Discord for the last 14 days due to the hysteria. People have been sending me DMs as soon as I've logged in. Everyone is talking about the same thing.
- Rewards on Steem.
- Rewards on Hive.
- The difference between Hive & Steem.
- Where they will have the best chance to earn.
We all know that Hive is the new home for tons of content creators and consumers since Justin came along and regardless of what you might think or feel about the many changes, weird statements and everything we've seen so far...
I wonder if Steem will ever recover from the loss of users who's powering down and leaving for Hive. I have never been lucky enough to be greatly rewarded for my contributions on a daily basis, but I know for a fact that most people are here to earn money... Curation has always been an issue though.
Is it even possible to earn anything "decent" nowadays, when so many users have left? The truth is that many of the users who left Steem for Hive are people who actually made a difference in terms of curation on Steem.
- Without them... What is left?
What do you think? Have you noticed a difference in terms of rewards? Are you on Hive or are you sticking with Steem? Is it even worth spending time creating content on Steem nowadays?
I’m moving to Hive but might as well try to make a few quatloos while still a passenger on the Titanic. But a “big score”? Not happening.
I feel the same way. I can't see how the curation issues we've had for this long on Steem will be fixed now when so many users are leaving. Steem truly feels like a sinking ship and I've seen a bunch of users milking as much as they can with garbage posts etc.
Steem feels dead.
