The Hypocrisy of Supporting @BernieSanders But Yet Fighting @Haejin

in #steem7 years ago

So I wanted to point out something that is obvious but yet some people don't want to see. The people who are fighting against @Haejin are doing so because, in their words, "he is raping the reward pool" and they flag him because they "disagree with the rewards". All I need to do is show you one post to see why @BernieSanders is the same as @Haejin:

No one can tell me with honesty that post is worth 503.37 SBD... lol how the fuck is he any different than @Haejin??

He has about a million Steem Power at least, as one user pointed out here: https://steemit.com/berniesanders/@doodlebear/the-empire-of-berniesanders-aka-nextgencrypto

Isn't that raping the reward pool, having hundreds of accounts and a crazy amount of the available Steem Power and therefore a large portion of the reward pool??? Up-voting himself like crazy (most likely spread across all of his accounts which means he probably upvotes 90%+ just like @Haejin). How exactly is that not raping the reward pool? It clearly is, get your head out your ass u fucking donkeys and stop bowing down to this mentally ill sociopath. There is nothing cool about glorifying someone who has clear mental health problems, it just makes society even shittier, and when people with those issues are glorified for it they will never get the help they should get.

Overall I can only believe that the people who are fighting against @Haejin but support @berniesanders are scared of going up against them both because then their account will really get trashed, and this is true. But it is some pussy shit. Grow some self respect guys, this is meant to be a platform where you can speak openly about shit and you can't get banned for it, but it has turned into being overly-nice cucks to people you don't even like based on their SP to beg for up-votes. Fucking pathetic. How about you guys go outside and get a real job and maybe you won't need to be a steemit prostitute.

Can't wait to hear the excuses for him, go on try and defend him, you will just look as fucking retarded as you all are, this is common fucking sense.

Sort:

What you are stating is totally obvious for anybody with a reasonable IQ.
This reverse reward pool rape is going on for quite some time and is supported by people who seem to be totally blind or stupid.
There are many things, that make this abuse even worse - one for example is, that your post will be flagged by BS and his army of fake accounts and bots, to silence you for your legitimate opinion. Afterwards he will threaten you to "kill" and "destroy" you.
Same old game - happening all over. The rules for this evil game were already successful in Nazi Germany and all other dictatorships in history: Silence people who dare to speak up through threatening to "kill" them.

Yeah man you hit the nail on the head there with the comment about him silencing people who voice an opinion which doesn't suit him. Sometimes he even goes at people who agree with him though just because he wants to start a fight with people and flex his steem muscles.

He certainly has a mental disorder because I was recently diagnosed Bipolar and he acts a lot like me in that one day he will be your best friend (gave me $20 upvote) and the next flag you to all hell (spammed me with flags for a joke against a guy he didn't like, so I was actually on his side). Doubt he will ever get professional help though, seems too far gone which is a shame.

They are both the same. Which is why I find it hilarious that people pick sides.

Haejin would do the same thing to people who disagreed with his TA. My rep was destroyed by him and starjuno for providing some basic research into some of his alt coins he was suggestion like Rain, BERN, Bitconnect. But since it went against his TA, he (and his group) would flag it, even though that research could have saved people a ton of money since I was right and his TA was not.

Then there are also issues where his BTC TA suggests a major correction, yet he would post about Alts exploding, which makes zero sense during such a big BTC correction. Heck even posting the same BTC charts over and over again should be considered spam.

On the opposite end, if I did agree wtih Haejin I would comment and thank him for the post. Then I would get flagged to death by Bernie. It is a lose/lose situation because of people like them.

They are both destroying the platform and are proof that the system is extremely flawed. They really need to cap rewards or have it exponentially more difficult to get past certain levels. Whales going around upvoting each other is a joke. I could be doing this myself but I have more respect for myself and would rather not scam people for profit.

Yeah I agree with u on all points. People should certainly use both Fundamental and Technical Analysis, rather than just one or the other.

In terms of them destroying the platform, they definitely are, but I think as you said it ultimately comes down to the system being flawed and so if they didn't destroy it someone else would have. A cap on rewards would be awesome, so that steemit actually has some sort of difference to regular society. In regular society we have a small amount of people with all the rewards, and on here we have that too, I don't understand what steemit tried to achieve honestly if it wasn't fairer distribution of wealth/earnings.

Maybe one objective was a more general-public controlled environment, but I think this just proved that having some form of government/centralized control is necessary, just when government goes crazy and regulates and puts rules on absolutely everything that it's a really bad thing.

Yeah I agree. I think any system were people govern themselves will always be susceptible to scam artists because there is no real authority to put them in their place.

I just feel this platform put very little thought in at least making it difficult and time consuming for people to be able to abuse it. It takes now work at all, just somewhat deep pockets to get the ball rolling, make some whale friends and start one massive circle jerk.

If haejin just received money from the minnows that are actually reading his content (even though i think it is okay TA at best) and was getting $10-50 a post I wouldn't have a problem. It is when starjuno, Ranchorelaxo and the rest of the gang instantly vote his 20 minute video, knowing damn well they haven't seen the content and they just have a scam going.

At least if there was some sort of tiered reward system, where it got exponentially more difficult to receive rewards beyond say $10, then $25, then $50, etc. And then no vote can be worth more than say 10% of the current total. Then you have him with his $15 minnow votes, then his whale friends come along and can only add $1.50.

It just makes zero sense for these posts to be worth $300. Meanwhile you have people providing solid information on everything from setting up a masternode, a good recipe, travel blogs. And to top it off these people continue to respond to replies and engage in discussions. What do they get $1.50

Personally, I think it's going to be an eternal struggle between those 2. I am just watching history in the making in the context of Steemit.

Have you tried to explain anything with mimimal efforts, such as skipping out all the "F" words? For me, I reward somebody whose post have value to my trading. It's as simple as that. Steemit is set out so you can monetize your posts. I don't blindly reward anybody, but only the posts that have value to me as a trader. I stick to the basics.

And you are using the platform as it was meant to. reward good content, flag only when it is needed. The problem is people like Bernie and Haejin complain about each other non stop, yet they are both guilty of the same thing, abusing the system. If you read his TA and like it, up vote. That is all good in my books.

My issue is when almost all of Haejin/Bernie profits come from the same whales, that don't even look at the content of the post. Haejin has earned $350 on a post that only contained a 20 minute video, and he earned it within 1 min of posting because his friends starjuno and Ranchorelaxo upvoted him. If you take these scam upvotes out and Haejin was making $20 a post, I wouldn't have an issue.

No one is going to want to post good content on this site if there are people on here scamming the system of rewards.
