You know what makes Steem awesome...?

I had a discussion with a close friend earlier today, which I think I did persuade to join the Steem fam...while waiting at the hospital's lobby the doctors to finish a two hour surgery on my father's left foot. He shredded it...

That's also the main reason why I didn't post anything the last couple of days...What was I saying...? Oh...yeah.

He is heavily invested in pretty much anything you can imagine...including BTC of course.

He had no clue what STEEM is nor what the potential of this blockchain is.

So after I short explanation, -funny how easy it is to explain Steem to those invested in crypto even if they have no clue about it- I made him realize that regardless of its tech superiority compared to 99% of all blockchains in existence, Steem is probably the most attractive destination when it comes to mass adoption.

And this is because of its uniqueness on how STEEM tokens are minted.

There is room for everyone...

For bloggers / vloggers...

For photographers....

For artists...

For scientists...

For tech geeks...

You name it...

You think the world is full of people with deep pockets? I mean there are plenty but you've seem the real power of the masses. Of average people...

What NO? Then go check how average people made Mark Zuckerberg billionaire...And none of them earned a penny...

But things do change ya know...

When you see people with 250K followers on Instagram join Steem when they finally realized that people turned themselves into billionaires by taking advantage of their "property"...one can only be optimistic about the future of Steem.

Can you even imagine this place flooded with people? No..I don't mean the same way it was back in January 2018. I mean really overcrowded.

With millions of active users...

Hopefully..SMT's will be a major boost toward that direction. But even if this don't play out as many of us hope, Steem will find its way to the light...

The road might be bumpy and long...really long, but it wouldn't worth it, if it was that easy...

Have a great one people.

Cheers.

It is nice too keep the fruit of my labor and not give it away to some billionaire that don't even say "Thank you!".

There is so much different stuff on #steem.

There are as well people, who post stories about #Beer since now more than 130 weeks in a row. They call it #BeerSaturday and you might even get one of the prices they give away each week.

Ha! And they are having so much fun. I've seen it!

If I had to mention everywhere one could fit this post would have been way too lengthy...

Great points.

Just wanted to say that is a beautiful picture. One day I hope to visit the WALL.

#sbi-skip

I hope I can visit it too one day mate. It is part of our history...

The other thing I love about Steem is the distribution which SMTs will also be a part of.

Most other cryptocurrencies require people to buy in. They need to put something else up.

With Steem, join and get involved....whatever your flavor, the opportunity to receive tokens is here.

Even something like Actifit is the easiest thing in the world and a guarantee of getting some tokens just by achieving 5,000 steps and posting a proof post.

Hard to match that.

This was the pull for me too. I had been eyeing bitcoin since 2012 but the next few years were I was not in a position to take any more risks. I’m still not a crypto millionaire but it’s so nice to have earned some crypto assets through sharing ideas and interacting with people :-)

It's hard to believe that any crypto project will reach BTC's highs hence make people multimillionaires. But some if them, including STEEM have a solid chance to climb the rankings and attract more and more users

Earn crypto if you can't afford them... Hard to match that indeed...

Room for everyone...

It’ll be really hard to recover from the momentum we lost but if people like this make an active push to bring their followings to steem it could happen

All it takes is a celebrity to join STEEM. I mean a really big name. The rest will follow. Like the domino effect. That's why Dan is pushing people to tweet about Yang. One more reason because of his crypto beliefs

I have several people with 100k+ followers that mutually follow me that I will be encouraging to try Steem. A lot of which even stopped actively using IG for the same reasons I stopped just recently.

People that had loyal followings and high engagement with their audience.

People such as Mia below who even spent a lot of down time establishing communities in the early stages of IG.

Is there a way that I can get the accounts of these artists approved quicker so they don’t feel hesitant to join?

Of course there is mate. Just hit me whenever you need one.

You are gonna love it around here...trust me. Do your thing and the rest will follow

That would be awesome thank you! Also, I would love to pick your mind on crypto while also talking about ways we can build the Steem community. Do you have a Discord?

Sure. You can find me here mindtrap#9035

How is dlive doing these days? I never followed up after the hype of getting Pewdiepie.

I think we need a bit more than one big name but it would help for sure. The problem 2017 was everyone was a bit messed up and too much into goldrush mode. If the coin did not moon in a week it was a scam and this mentality swapped over into Steem as well imo and if I did not have 1 million followers and 1k+ per post it is a scam and all is for the whales and unfair etc.

Well, I heard they've been doing more than great tbh...

That...

Which is why I think this bear market benefited all committed members. Both because they had the chance to accumulate more by blogging / buying but most importantly because we got rid of that stupid I wanna be rich and I want it now mentality...

That is also a brilliant idea, Yang supporters seem very likely to appreciate steem! Yanggang welcome

Nah...give it one more shot
