Commenting is perhaps the best way to earn at this point, posts do not hang long in the feed of most members as they follow lots of users.
I only recently decided to comment more as it is harder to find good posts now to resteem, and it's a lot easier than spending a long time on a post that hangs for 2 minutes in a feed then 'vanishes' (it doesn't really but sure seem like it sometimes)

Certain tags are more popular than others but make sure to use relevant tags if you post (yours are OK)

Enjoy Steemit, just don't EXPECT rewards, think of them as a bonus.
