RE: BEWARE! Binance suspended Deposit of STEEM
The "wallet maintenance. deposit suspend" has been ongoing since last night. I discovered the issue around 8:30pm (Eastern Time. Canada) when I tried to deposit STEEM into my binance account. Initially I thought that Binance was the only exchange having this issue. I went to Poloniex, clicked on STEEM, and voila! Same issue!

I hope this issue gets resolved soon.
Looks like the common issue, and the issue is not in the exchange but in steemit.
You got lucky that you didn't deposit anything. I deposited before it was suspended and my funds didn't reach the destination.
