We're working on many levels at the moment but most stores are only greenwashing but we'll get it under control in 2018! :)

Diving seems to be the way to go if you have access.
I have worked on a couple of community projects here in the UK where we have tried to get supermarkets to donate their waste food for free food projects.
They have generally refused quoting 'health and safety' issues (!!) and instead offer us vouchers to use in their stores.
Small independent stores have been fine.
Keep on diving...
Yup they have many excuses why not to give the food away but we're having more luck here lately! :)
