From Scotland with FUD
Being a fan of all Crypto-goodness, be it Bitcoin, NEO or even Steem, we all hear the word 'FUD' quite often. Being from Scotland, and maybe more accurately Glasgow, adds another dimension to the word 'FUD' and I'll shed some light on why...
The word fud from where I'm from is an offensive name to call someone, which specifically means a vagina.
We do like the word c*nt also but I won't get into that. Sometimes it's good to call someone a fud because it's offensive but also with a little Scottish humour mixed into it.
So when I hear everyone talk about FUD you can imagine what goes through my head, but I'm kinda used to it now to a point where FUD is FUD! But more specifically when I mention to my girlfriend that all the prices of particular coins are being hit hard with FUD, I get some pretty weird looks and get asked some pretty strange questions.
Ah well, I just thought I would share that with you Steemians while I hodl my bags through all this FUD!
It is weird how words can have different meaning in different languages. It's good to share new words from different corners of the world.
Totally agree!
And this guy's last name is Fudd XD
I would normally refer to Elmer as 'That Elmer C*nt'
